The DJC is building for the future.

New resources will offer more adult and youth programming, spiritual learning, community activities, life cycle support, and accessibility to the DJC for those in financial need.

Your generosity makes a difference.

A monthly donation provides the greatest certainty for DJC planning and its programming decisions.

Your donations can be directed to support:

  • Current Danforth Jewish Circle programs (services, educational programs, social justice work, pastoral care, adult learning, social events, accessibility initiatives, and more)
  • The Claudia Bali Education Fund, where the funds will support the DJC Jewish Studies Program and B’nei Mitzvah Program
  • The recognition of individuals and lifecycle events (memorial and Kavod/honour donation); support the creation of a Yahrzeit leaf for our tapestry ($54); sponsor a Kiddush ($108); dedicate a Siddur prayerbook ($36)

Every $1,000 donated to current programs covers the cost of one of the following:

  • An additional evening of programming
  • A rabbi-led Shabbat service,
  • A membership for a family in need
  • A full year of DJC school tuition for a student

Leave a Gift in Your Will

The strongest ongoing legacy you can provide for the DJC is to make a bequeath in your Will. This does not need to be difficult. If you already have a Will you can attach a simple codicil or if you are revising or preparing your Will outline your wishes. There are 4 basic ways to give. Consult your lawyer, financial planner, or contact us and we will help you find the answers you need.

Thank you for making your contribution to the Danforth Jewish Circle.

What a mitzvah!

You will receive a charitable tax receipt for your contribution. Official income tax receipts will be emailed in early February for donations made in the previous tax year. The Danforth Jewish Circle is a registered charitable organization (BN/Registration number: 870202660RR0001).
