Neuroscience confirms what meditation practitioners have long known – we have the ability to literally change our minds! The desire to change ourselves and our harmful habits requires awareness and the ability to consciously choose rather than merely react. With basic meditation instruction and Jewish wisdom, we will engage in practices that help us notice our well-worn mental and heart-habits and that help us develop clear, flexible minds capable of change.

6:00 – 7:30PM
Location: Sanctuary

The closing of the gates. A creative service to lift us to the end of Yom Kippur which will include melody, movement, meditation, the reading of our anonymously written sin-notes and a great shofar blast.

*Note: Complimentary childcare (ages 2-6) is provided for all services. For evening services, from 7:00 pm to the conclusion of the main service; for day services, from 9:30 am to the conclusion of the main service.
