Sukkot Apple Picking

What better way to celebrate the harvest of Sukkot than by picking apples as a community!  Meet other DJCers of all ages, learn about Sukkot’s connections to the earth and enjoy an afternoon of apple picking.

Organics Family Farm (view address/ google map link). It’s located on the north east corner of Reesor Road (10th Line) and Nineteenth Avenue in Markham.  Please enter the farm from Reesor Road (Tenth Line). LocationNOTE – location may change dependent on their apple supply at the time of the program.

Entrance fee: There is an entrance fee of $10/person, which includes a 5lb bag of pick-your-own apples.  Or you can pay $2/lb if you pick more.
What to bring / where to meet: Be sure to wear sturdy shoes or boots in case the ground is muddy.  Bring snacks and water.  We will meet in the parking lot.
