Shmita and Habits of Consumption
April 25 @ 7:30 pm

This session is part of our year-long series on Building Shmita/Sabbatical Culture. How much do we need? What is enough? What drives our individual and societal consumption? We will engage with the Shmita/Sabbatical year’s call to challenge our relationship with owning for the sake of radical sharing and collective well-being. This session is an opportunity to examine what we use, own and want alongside exploring initiatives for urban shared economy – from libraries for tools or seeds, to clothing swaps, to skills banks. Let’s see what we can imagine together.
