Shabbat Morning Torah-Palooza

This Shabbat, join us for a Torah-centered Shabbat service and rich Torah exploration. Seven community members who have learned to chant Torah will lead us in seven participatory aliyot. We’ll also hear the haftarah, the prophetic reading that is paired with the Torah reading. DJC member James Rolfe will reflect on Torah chanting as part of his daily practice, his life as a composer, and its place woven among the threads of his secular and religious Jewish ancestry.
