Rosh Hashanah 5782: Day 2

September 8

We are so looking forward to this year’s High Holy Days together, celebrating a New Year in deep gratitude and joy, reflection and learning, support and warm connection with each other.

After several community conversations, board discussions, research into practices in other communities and following Ontario public health guidelines, we will be offering services and programs that integrate both online and in-person outdoor opportunities – the best of both worlds, to ensure the safety of our members and leaders, while finding creative ways to build community and engage in meaningful and accessible gatherings.

All services will be on Zoom, enabling us to see each other unmasked, interact with one other, and safely sing our hearts out! Rabbi Miriam, Cantor Lisa, a few musicians, and our Torah readers will be together in person in our beloved Bethminster so we can sing together (safely distanced).

We are also gathering outdoors in-person for various opportunities for ritual, learning, to meet and welcome new people, connect with old friends, and remember what it’s like to be in community.
