What have you always wanted to learn in Judaism? Great stories of the Talmud about conflict and peace? Queer or Feminist readings of Torah? Mystical interpretations of Abraham’s journey into the unknown?
We are kicking off a new Jewish learning project, diving into Judaism’s radical wisdom. For 5 Tuesday evenings, participants will choose a Jewish text or topic, sit in conversation with a hevrutah partner (study buddy) and explore!
Come with a hevrutah or we will pair you up. Come with a text you want to explore or we will provide sources. Rabbi Miriam and other guides-in-residence will there to answer questions and offer support. At the end of each evening, you’ll get to hear highlights from each hevrutah’s learning.
Let’s fill the room with the buzz of engaged discussion and discovery. NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN JEWISH LEARNING NECESSARY.
