Radical Judaism: Rethinking God and Tradition (1 of 6)

January 13, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Learning following meditation.

In this series we will be exploring sections of Rabbi Art Green’s book, Radical Judaism: Rethinking God and Tradition.  Rabbi David Wolpe described this book’s sources and interpretations as “knit together in a neo-Chasidic, kabbalistically infused ’60s activist Judaism that claims Green as one of its pioneers and preeminent spokesmen.” In each session, we will read excerpts of Green’s book together, exploring traditional concepts and radical re-visionings of God, Torah and the Jewish people.  Participants are encouraged to buy a copy of the book in advance, though experts of the book will be made available in each session.
