Facilitated by Rabbi Miriam
Pesach is a celebration of transformation – from slavery to freedom, from degradation to praise, from winter to spring, from narrow Pharaoh-ego to expansive, sacred communal purpose. In order to grow into something new, we have to know our present state of being, its narrow constrictions, and we have to creatively imagine what we might become.
In this workshop, our tools will include exploring Jewish sources and guided writing exercises to interpret and imagine the transformation to deeper freedom!
This session will prepare our hearts and minds for Pesach, for deeper liberation as individuals and as a people.
In addition to being a rabbi, Rabbi Miriam holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts with a concentration in Creative Writing. She is a published poet and loves facilitating workshops that play with images and voice, that delve into the stories of our lives and breathe new life into the words and evocative metaphors of Jewish sources.
