Earth Hour Havdalah Community Coffee House

This is an in-person event

On March 25th, the DJC community will mark Earth Hour together as we sing our way to the end of Shabbat and into the night amid flickering candlelight. We’ll celebrate Havdalah and Earth Hour followed by a 15 minute intermission and then a “coffee house” evening of great live music, poetry, stories, and art from our wonderful community members. 

Sadly, the Mohammeds, the family we sponsored a few years ago, recently experienced significant tragedy and several relatives were killed and left homeless in the Earthquake that hit Syria.  One family has seven people who have been forced to stay in a shelter.  We are collecting money to give the Mohammeds, to help support their families. We will have a collection box at this event if you are interested in making a donation.
