An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until December 9, 2020
Who are your ancestors? What do you know about your lineage and the beauty and strength, trauma and struggle that you have inherited? What stories have been passed down to you about them and what silences envelop those who came before you. What does it mean when Jewish prayer connects us to Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca, Jacob, Leah and Rachel? How has the history and legacy of antisemitism imprinted itself on your body, mind and heart? This series is an opportunity to explore our individual, immediate ancestors as well as our shared Jewish ancestors. We will explore the impact they have made on us, how they carry us, and how we can uncover their guidance, support and wisdom when we consciously welcome our ancestors to walk alongside us. We will also explore possibilities for healing generational trauma and repairing what we pass on to future generations. This workshop is suited for both Jews and folks from other lineages.
