Session 2 ~ June 17
Session 3 ~ June 24
Due to the overwhelming positive response to the 5-part series The Many Faces of the Imageless God, we will continue to meet for 3 more Shabbat mornings for an in-depth exploration of Abraham Joshua Heschel’s book Between God and Man: An Interpretation of Judaism. Heschel’s experiential orientation, poetic writing style, and sense of awe and wonder ground his ideas of God and Judaism in experiences in nature, in relationship, in Torah’s wisdom and imagery, in our actions, and in Mystery. Come find out more. Discussion will be followed by kiddush.
All are welcome, even if you did not attend the prior series.
If you are interested, please purchase the book and bring it to the first session. It is recommended to read Part I before the first session.
