DO YOU REQUIRE AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE TO ATTEND HIGH HOLY DAY SERVICES?

Eastminster Renovations Update

The renovations to make Eastminster wheelchair accessible are moving forward.  When they are completed, the building will have an accessible entrance at Jackman that will be safe and fully up to code, and there will be accessible washrooms on the first floor.

Regrettably, we have been informed that the renovations will not be completed in time for the High Holydays as originally planned.  This means the Jackman entrance, which has a ramp, will not be available for use, and the only entrance we can use will be the one on Danforth with stairs.  We are working on a solution for members who will be affected by this, and are considering all possibilities.

If you require a ramp to access the building, please contact the Accessibility Initiative.

If you require any other accommodations to be able to participate in High Holyday Services, please don’t hesitate to contact the Accessibility Initiative and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
